Best Fruits To Eat vs. Worst Fruits To Eat

17th Jan 2014

Blueberries, oranges, bananas, apples, kiwis, grapes, strawberries, and papayas are the best fruits you can indulge yourself with!

Blueberries are rich in antioxidants and help you fight cancer.

One orange gives you a full days worth of Vitamin C plus potassium.

Apple skin is full of fiber and antioxidants.

Bananas are high in potassium, and low in sodium. They also help reduce the risk of high blood pressure and stroke.

Kiwis contain twice as much Vitamin C as oranges, and may lower the risk for cataracts and protect DNA from damage.

Red grapes are full of resveratrol, and antioxidant that helps fight heart disease.

Strawberries help control Type 2 diabetes and help fight heart disease and inflammation.

Papayas contain papain, a substance that helps improve your digestion. They also provide Vitamin C and folate.

Fruits lowest in sugar are some the highest in nutritional value, including antioxidants. However, fruits high in sugar won't help you lose weight. Bananas are considered both good and bad when it comes to choosing the best and worst fruits to eat. Sure, bananas hold great nutritional value, but they are packed with sugar. If you're trying to lose weight, eat only half of a banana. That way you are still getting it's nutritional value, but not adding in all those calories. This also applies to other fruits high in sugar. If they are high in sugar, just simply reduce the serving size of it when eating it. Besides high sugared fruits, fruits are a great food to incorporate into your diet. No bad fruits! Just watch the sugar and serving size and you should be well on your way to a healthy diet!
